"De Berg" means
The Mountain.

The name is Dutch — a nod to gezelligheid, the untranslatable Dutch idea of warmth, closeness, and the pleasure of being gathered together in a space that holds everyone.

De Berg sits steps from Vermont ski terrain and within reach of hiking, foliage, and small-town charm year-round. Four floors, eight bedrooms, a house-sized dining table — and enough room for everyone to disappear and reappear exactly when they want to.

We built De Berg for groups who want to be truly together — not split between hotel rooms or scattered across rental clusters.

"

"Room enough to work. Room enough to feast. Room enough to simply be."

De Berg, Vermont

Four floors of experience

Every inch of De Berg is designed around the needs of a group. Not a generic vacation listing — a purpose-built gathering house.

The Long Table

A dining table that seats every one of your 14 guests at once. Family-style meals, strategy dinners, birthday feasts — no one gets left at a side table.

Dedicated Office Floor

The entire third floor is a dedicated working space — proper desk setup, strong Wi-Fi, and separation from leisure floors so your team can actually get things done.

Basement Game Room

When the workday ends, head downstairs. The basement game room is the heart of evening energy — the place where teams bond and families remember the trip.

Vermont, year-round

Most people think of Vermont as a ski destination. De Berg is that — steps from the mountain, perfect for ski weekends and Christmas holidays. But the house is just as alive in the other three seasons.

Spring brings mud season charm and quiet trails. Summer means cool nights and green hills when the rest of the country bakes. Fall is Vermont at its most spectacular — foliage, apple orchards, country fairs, and that particular October light.

Corporate groups find that stepping away from the office — into actual nature — produces the kind of clarity that no conference room ever did. Families discover that four floors and a basement game room give everyone enough space to breathe and come back together.

Your group deserves a real gathering place.
